He makes big plays with both his arm and legs, possesses the size and arm strength to throw the ball down the field and the athleticism to make a big play when protection breaks down. During his freshman year, MarQueis saw action as both a quarterback and wide receiver. He had a breakout game against Ohio State, going 5-of-6 passing for 51 yards and tossing his first TD pass; along with having had a career day running ball against Ohio State with career highs of 11 carries and 81 yards, he scored his first collegiate touchdown on a reception with 265 yards rushing. Gray ended the regular season as the team’s fourth-leading rusher, and earned first varsity letter. |
