Chmiel, an educational speaker, will be featured at upcoming festivals in Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
Chmiel centers his approach on educating families on the realities of the recruiting process, while also helping young student athletes find avenues for their skills and making the right decisions.
Noted recruiting specialist Tom Lemming named Chmiel as one of the eleven best recruiting coordinators of all time in his book, “Football's Second Season: Scouting High School Gamebreakers.”
Chmiel has over 25 years of experience in the recruiting and collegiate football industry, as both a coach and recruiting coordinator. Chmiel has worked in those roles under two of the most legendary coaches to ever step foot on a college football field, Bo Schembechler at the University of
Michigan and Lou Holtz at Notre Dame.
In addition to Chmiel, former NFL Running Back Joe Burns will also be a featured speaker for DeBartolo Sports University, appearing at the Atlanta DeBartolo Football Festival.
Burns is a former standout at Georgia Tech, and finished his career as the fourth leading rusher in Yellow Jacket history. Prior to his college days, Burns was a Georgia High School Football Player of the Year, and an honorable mention USA Today All-USA pick at Thomas County Central High School.
