| On Friday night inside the Bubble, athletes from across the Northeast gathered to showcase their skills and compete in the skills challenge events. DeBartolo Sports University’s Friday Night is all about competition, we salute all of the athletes for coming out and competing.

The night was highlighted by several tremendous individual performances and team performances including the group from North Brunswick High School, the quarterbacks from St. Peter’s Prep, and the quarterback and receiver unit from West Catholic in Philadelphia.
The program kicked off with a talk from National Collegiate Scouting Association’s and former Philadelphia Eagle Cecil Martin. Following Cecil’s inspirational talk, the athletes took the field and had the chance to warm up with the Parisi Speed School. Following the warm up athletes were front and center on the skills challenge stage.
The skills challenge provide athletes with the opportunity to compete in a variety of position specific skill drills. Following the skills challenges athletes had their chance to compete in one on one’s and DeBartolo Sports University’s money drill. Let’s check out how the athletes faired in the different skills challenges.
QUARTERBACK SKILLS CHALLENGE
The Quarterback pool proved to be one of the most talented to date. The youth group was led by rising star Kasim Hill. The high school division featured several tremendous performances by quarterbacks like Nick Aigeldinger, Aaron Aiken, Jared Evans, Colin Macri, Brett Dawidowski, Raphael Ortiz, Greg DePugh, and Andy Farinich. The results are as follows:

With all results in and performances weighed, the skills challenge MVP is awarded to Nick Aigeldinger. Nick put forth the highest accuracy performance to date along with very strong performances in the long toss and quick foot challenges. Congratulations to the DeBartolo Sports University HS QB Skills Challenge MVP, Nick Aigeldinger.
SKILL PLAYER SKILLS CHALLENGES
The skill position athletes proved to be some of the most talented athletes DeBartolo Sports University has seen to date. Devonte Daniels wowed onlookers with his tremendous quickness and change of direction, Glenn Edwards put on a tremendous overall show throughout the night, and other top performers included Darius Mayers, Andrew Pursell, Jaelen Strong, Zak Irizarry, Raffieu Deen-Williams and Barrington Mitchell. The skill positions came to compete and compete they did…several receivers and running backs turned in all-star performances during the skills challenge. Devonte Daniels put forth a tremendous effort, but Glenn Edwards top hands performance allowed him to grab MVP honors. the DeBartolo Sports University Skill Player Skills Challenge MVP title went to Glenn Edwards from Bernards High School.
BIG MEN SKILLS CHALLENGES
The big men battled all night in a mix of power, agility and football skills challenges. The results are as follows:

With the big men battling, the competition for the MVP title was a hard fought one. After all of the points were tabulated, Defensive End Al Kamara could not be denied the title as the Big Man Skills Challenge MVP.

The DeBartolo Sports University Defensive Skill Position Combine MVP was as close as it gets…Brandon Holloman edged out Anthony Sarao to take home the MVP honors. Congratulations to the DeBartolo Defensive Skills Challenge MVP, Brandon Holloman.
After the skills challenges were concluded, the competitive 1 on 1’s were unleashed on the field. The 1 on 1’s provided plenty of highlight clips for DeBartolo Sports University. The receivers, running backs, linebackers, defensive backs, and quarterbacks put on a show for the fans and coaches in attendance.
