| It’s hard to believe that the 2009 camp season has come to an end and the Fall football season is finally upon us. To those athletes that spent their spring and summer attending training camps, combines and showcase events, well done.

On behalf of the staff and coaches of DeBartolo Sports University, thank you for attending one of our programs. We recognize the commitment that is required to attend camps and we are grateful you supported ours. Your hard work and dedication while participating in off-season conditioning programs, 7-on-7, and two-a-days will pay big dividends in the upcoming season.
In February 2009, DeBartolo Sports University kicked off the DeBartolo Football Festivals in Los Angeles. From there, we traveled up and down each coast, across the Midwest and finished in August where we started it all, Los Angeles. During this stretch, 4000 athletes from over 40 states became members of the DeBartolo Sports University fraternity of football players. Each Festival city featured skills challenges, position specific training Academies, Coaches Clinics and a Showcase. The two-day, intensive program for all football positions, featured position training, speed, strength and agility training an extensive classroom work.
Thanks to our partners:
The National Collegiate Scouting Association (NCSA) was on hand at each event to educate high school student athletes and their families about the college recruiting process.
Pure Power Mouthguard brought their custom fit dental devices that naturally align the athletes jaw helping them to maximize their performance.
Puresport was the official hydration partner of the DeBartolo Football Festival. At each event, their workout and recovery drink was featured to enhance the human body’s performance during and after strenuous athletic activity.
I would like to say a special thank you to DeBartolo Sports University resident HeadCoach, Joe Dickinson. Coach Dickinson traveled to nearly every city this summer, ensuring that each participant received a first class experience and the best coaching. His 20 plus years of collegiate coaching experience brought an unparalleled level of expertise and experience to each event.
DeBartolo Sports University is an amateur sports educational organization that focuses on recognizing athletes for their accomplishments and talents, while helping them fulfill their potentials. Throughout the football season, we take great pride in highlighting the achievements of the athletes that have come through our program. Send us your highlight tapes and pictures, and we will publicize your achievements. If you have something to brag about, let us know.
